BELT GRINDING MACHINE PB 100/3000


This machine is espe­cially designed for flat working of glass or similar mate­ri­als cooled with water or water emul­sion. It is an ideal machine for bev­el­ling the edges and removal of over­presses or other pro­duc­tion faults. The abra­sive band and its grit must be chosen with regards to the processed mate­r­ial and required quality of the ground surface.


The fol­low­ing pro­duc­tion steps can be rec­om­mended to achieve a high quality glass facet:
1. rough grind­ing — band grit 120, 150 or 180
2. fine grind­ing — band grit 320 or 400
3. pol­ish­ing — cork pol­ish­ing band or cork grind­ing band, grit 1000
